The dawn of the new year in 2013 was a stepping stone for our founder, Vinod Wettasinghe. He dreamed of ensuring that his mother’s books would live on to spread joy to future generations. With a big dream, Vinod set out to establish Adith Publishers with the help of his mother, Sybil Wettasinghe. Which started as a small venture has now expanded to us distributing Sybil’s books to over a hundred bookstores island-wide. With the advancement of technology, Vinod realized the need to become digital. And thus was the birth of Adith Books in 2018. 

Five years later Adith Books is back new and improved! Our new website has better and improved features that allow our customers to have an easy and enjoyable shopping time. Adith books will continue to provide and distribute joy in the form of books to children island-wide.
